Technical and Vocational Skills Training

SKILLS TRAINING

The greatest barrier for youth and women to compete effectively in the workforce has been a lack of skills; we provide a solution to this through free technical & vocational skills training.

We believe skills development to be a fundamental prerequisite for vulnerable community members to become economically empowered. Developing the capacity of youth and women will improve their likelihood of employability, income generation, and ultimately freedom to escape intergenerational cycles of violence, economic dependence and poverty.

Skills trainings that do not contextually fit the needs of the local populace, are not accessible due to expensive tuitions or are irrelevant to the demand and market have contributed to a fatigue in training responsiveness.

Our vocational skills training institutes counter this by offering free skills training in the most marketable and profitable fields in Somalia based on annual market & labor force studies we conduct.

We innovate and update our roster of skills taught on an annual basis in order to provide the high quality education and dignified opportunities for alternative livelihoods our community deserves.
